SUBBdance

The continuing success of Swing Unlimited 2 (commonly known as SU2) has brought about an ever increasing number of musicians wishing to become involved. Consequently, it is now considered important to give all the players an opportunity to perform in the standard Big Band format of seventeen performers. This means just one player for each instrument.

SUBBdance was created to fulfil this role and due to the numbers of players in SU2, two such Big Bands were formed.  One SUBBdance performs in the Poole area and the other in the Bournemouth area.

As always, within the Swing Unlimited Big Band Group (SUBB Group) the emphasis is on performance. The music performed by SUBBdance highlights the classic big band era and, as the name of the band suggests, provides music for those who want to dance.
